Esco Ventures announces our participation in Javelin Medical Series B Financing.
Based in Israel, Javelin Medical is an early stage company developing a permanent carotid implant for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation patients. This implant is placed within seconds in the carotid arteries using a very thin needle. A procedure that may be performed at the patient's bed side under ultrasound guidance, without the need for fluoroscopic imaging or contrast agents.
